Co-op Laurieston
Welcome to my latest review of a charming grocery spot - Co-op Laurieston, located at 76 Mary Street, Falkirk, EMEA FK2 9PS. This supermarket chain is making a name for itself in the community, not only for its convenient location but also for its product selection and customer service experience.
Co-op Laurieston serves a diverse array of products, making it a go-to for locals, especially those looking to stock up on groceries. Their bestsellers reflect the variety and quality you can expect here:
- Coop Ready to Eat Sliced Chicken Breast (170g) - £3.90: A perfect choice for quick meals or sandwiches.
- Coop White Rolls (6 pack) - £0.80: Freshly baked and ideal for any meal.
- Coop Mango Chunks (250g) - £2.90: A refreshing, healthy snack.
But it’s not just everyday grocery items that Co-op Laurieston excels in. The in-store bakery offers delightful options such as:
- Coop Gingerbreads & Bakery Mini Biscuits (10 pack) - £1.40: Perfect for your afternoon tea or as a sweet treat.
- Warburtons Cinnamon & Raisin Bagels (5 pack) - £2.30: Great for a breakfast indulgence.
While I appreciate the range they provide, it is essential to note that experiences vary among customers. Some reviews highlight challenges such as poor communication regarding substitutions or issues with customer service. A review by 'meer asher' mentions an uncomfortable interaction over a parcel issue, and 'chloe' expressed frustration over an unexpected change in her grocery order. Such experiences can detract from the shopping experience, though they do not diminish the quality of products available.
On a positive note, 'KM R' noted their smooth first-time experience, especially during self-isolation, and praised the overall efficiency and product availability through delivery. It’s these positives that position Co-op Laurieston as a trusted shopping destination for those in need of quick and easy access to groceries.
In summary, Co-op Laurieston provides a range of quality grocery items alongside a selection of freshly baked goods, perfectly catering to the needs of the local community. While there may be occasional hiccups in customer interaction, the overall experience seems promising, especially if you focus on the fresh products they offer. Keep an eye out if you’re in the area! You may find your next favorite dish or snack right here.

It's absolutely shame that shift manager Duncan was very rude and disrespectful while dealing with a issue where parcel company dpd didn't print receivers name on sticker printed by local shop in London, sender spoke to him in Falkirk from London and explained that email shows senders and receiver both names but local shop who printed sticker don't know why only printed senders name and details but receivers only address got printed , his name was missing, tracking number address and senders phone numbers were other ways to check identification and to make sure parcel gets to the right person but Duncan who claimed he was the shift manager not only dealt rudley but also very unhelpful, he should have not been there as a shift supervisor or manager when he can't sort out the problems and figure out what's right and what wrong but beyond this very bad customer service and shameful attitude of co op staff shame on them that sender tried to talk to him and try to sort the issue out but not only he was rude with sender but also rudley behaved with parcel receiver .Shame on coop for hiring such an inconsiderate and ignorant people who are there only to earn money and give bad name to company , people should boycott these kind of stores and people who don't care about customers and company like co op should not be considered as customer friendly supermarket big shame for Duncan and Co op.

This was a terrible experience. Ordered an online order for a few things. It came up on the app that of my things I had ordered had suddenly became out of stock, so they replaced it without phoning. I ordered prawn cocktail co up crisps, they ‘substituted’ them for ready salted sticks which I don’t like. They should have phoned to ask me what I’d like to swap it with. And then the drink, I wanted monster and they changed it to lucozade. Don’t like either of the things! When I phoned they said order had already left but this was after I phoned times and finally the th time i phoned they answered but was obviously too late. Wont be ordering from here again

Ok. Self isolating at the moment. Needed groceries at short notice. Nothing available for delivery today from the big or . So used Deliveroo and Coop in Laurieston. First time. Very impressed! Easy to use website and ordering service. Good choice of products. Only thing missing from what we were looking for was celery. Delivered well within the timescale. Accurate in terms of order. Great. Was going to give star as do feel prices are a bit higher than expected but hey, difficult times and drivers/deliverers to pay. Thanks coop and Deliveroo. Customer focused service.
